Bill Clinton bashes Netanyahu on camera, says he has to be forced to make peace

Good morning from Boston.

Something tells me that Bill Clinton isn't too crazy about the idea of his wife Hillary becoming President. On Sunday, he based Israeli Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu on camera, straying from his wife's false pro-Israel line.

It came at the end of a three-hour fifteen-minute C-Span coverage of Clinton's attendance at Sunday's Iowa steak fry with Senator Tom Harkin (D).

If we don’t force him to have peace, we won’t have peace … Netanyahu is not the guy,” a pro-'Palestinian' activist told the ex-president. I agree with that,” Clinton clearly replied, apparently unaware his remarks were being recorded. Then he bragged about getting Ehud Barak to give Arafat everything he wanted, including Jerusalem.

Let's go to the videotape (Hat Tip: Jack W).

Much more from Yid with Lid (including a transcript if you, like me could not get the sound to work) here.

I have reported in the past that Hillary Clinton is an anti-Semite. I guess she has now won Bill over.

Carl, if Shrillary actually becomes President, we are in nearly as much trouble as we are with Obama playing president....she is a monster, and also a dyke....Anthony Weiner's wife is her girl friend. And it has been said by so many that Obama has a boy friend.Hillary;s age may be the thing that keeps her out of the White House. And her book did not do very well, happiky.I can dream, can't I?

Enjoy Boaton!

There is nothing wrong with criticizing Netanyahu unless you think he is a god. He is a politician and like most he is short of perfect for Israel. If criticizing Netanyahu makes one anti-Semitic then criticizing Obama makes one a racist. Same logic. This is not the same as defending the Palestinian position. Many seem not to understand that....

Lois, once someone becomes president, they lose their bechira. No one can do anything to Eretz Yisroel that Hashem does not want done. It's frustrating, I know. I can't believe there is a Jew alive who would vote for her. (We all know they got the dead ones covered.) Sadly, I'm related to one.

It's sad that Bill Clinton had to stoop to this. He had said that Arafat made him a failure for not taking the deal offered then. It sounds as if he now is taking the Palestinians' side when that was not the case at the time.

So, we know that Netanyahu is not the favorite of Bill, Hillary, or Obama. No kidding? Maybe Netanyahu was defending his country against those who would destroy it. And this frustrates the U.S., which only wants to end the conflict, no matter how bad a deal this is for Israel. Let's get this straight: Israel will make peace when the conditions meet Israel's demands, not just the Palestinians'. And if the world doesn't like it, let them drink the waters of the Dead Sea. (I think that is what Arafat said once; it fits the situation.)

Lois, I object to the loshon hara regarding Hillary Clinton's and President Obama's alleged sexual preferences. Whether true or not, they are irrelevant to the larger issue of the fact that both are not good for the situation. Please stick to the facts.

IMOY, unfortunately there are plenty of Jews who will vote for any Democrat. This has been the trend, and it will be slow to change, if it ever does.
